What is this movie?

I don't know the name, but I'm pretty sure it was in the early 2000s. It was about some kind of alien/virus epidemic, and it was in a school. The only thing I can remember was that people in the school were becoming infected and some pool scene where it was swimming, I have no idea. Help please?
