Mobile home shower spout?

Water leaks rapidly out the bottom of the spout running the hot water out quickly. I have tried to "unscrew" the spout from the fixture. I didnt try to hard cuz i'm not sure if they thread like in a regular home. Plumbing is alot different in mobile homes and this will be another learning experience. So the question, does the spout unthread or is there another procedure?
