Chicken Broth will work better Because its Liquid and Stock is mainly Solid, you want something Liquidity for Soups, Fresh Spinach is better Canned Spinach is Nasty don't use it and Frozen Its okay but its not Fresh use Fresh Spinach trust me I'm a Chef
