John frusciante vs. david gilmore vs. Eddie Van Halen?
John Frusciante, of course. He's one of the best guitar players ever. He's not that overrated, and he's got the pion for his work. You can figure that on stage. It's a whole different world when he's on stage. Have you seen "Off The Map"? That's a beautiful example. It's like if he had lived his whole life just for playing guitar, his solo career is amazing, and just with a few chords. Don't "fall in love" with album solos (i'm talking about Snow), of course he's got a lot of brilliant solos in records, like the "Mellowship Slinky in B Major" one, or the one on "Stone Cold Bush" (i love all John's old stuff with the Peppers, new stuff kinda sucks), but the point is you have to watch and feel the live ones, the "What is Soul?" jam, the intros and outros (like Paris 2003). All improved "movements" on stage. He's brilliant. And just what i've said before, with a few chords.
