Hubby jailed. How can I do my own divorce?

Check with the state you are in. If he is jail, then he is easily found. File an original petition for divorce in the district court you are in. Then, have him served at the prision he is in. He will have a certain time to respond. He can either sign the papers or contest them (refuse to sign). If he does that, then a court date will be set, and he could show up. Either way it goes, it shouldn't be too hard. You will need his inmate number to have him served.
