Do you think my bedroom is okay looking the way its looking at the moment?

I know i shouldn't get advice from complete strangers, but i'm the type of person that needs to be constantly told that something is okay for me to start believing it for myself. Dunno why, guess i just don't trust ME. Okay, so i am 24, and up until now my room has always been messy, disorganized & cluttered. But oneday i just went on a mad cleaning frenzy, and got rid of 3/4 of my stuff. Now my room is looking a little bare-ish! All i have in my bedroom is just the essentials & my comforts. I have no decorations or ornaments, unless they serve some kind of purpose. My television is in my room cos i watch it every day, books are in my room, because i love reading, my bed is obviously in my room, cos i need it for sleeping, and my clothes are in my room, so i can wear them etc etc!!! I've taken all my makeup, beauty & hair products OUT and placed in the bathroom, i've gotten rid of any past memories, and have placed photos & things in storage. (i don't like being reminded of my past, the memories in my head are enough i think). My drawers are still messy but organized, i got rid of all my cushions & things, and only have two pillows now. I only have one set of bedsheets (those on my bed). i have no lamps in my room, because i have a main lighting fixture, and why would i need extra lighting? I got rid of anything that i oneday thought i'd use (ie sewing machine, cameras tripod), but have since stayed in my room gathering dust, never been really used. i also got rid of my night table & my desk & its hutch, because i just didn't need them anymore. My room is so spacious & beautiful, and i do like it, but i feel like it shouldn't be like this. It seems more like a guest room rather than the room of a 24 year old. Do you think this is okay to be like this? to have a room like this? i spend a good deal of time in my room anyways. My family (brothers/sisters & sisters in laws, nieces & nephews) are all coming over this year for christmas, and i just know they're going to say something about how horrible & bare my room is.. their rooms are full of junk & clutter afterall. If you were to see my room sorta the way i described it, what would you think about me? they say your bedroom should reflect your personality, what would that say about me do you think? I think the best thing about my room being this way, is that now i can't impulse shop like i used too, meaning i'll save money, and spend it on more important things. i do feel a sense of simplicity in my life now. is that good to feel? my room is also in colors of black/white, taupe, brown & cream :)
