What can I do to help my hamster?

My female Syrian hamster who is 1 year and 6 months is looking really ill! She was fine last night then this morning she was eyes half closed wobbling around and shaking! unfortunatly I had to leave for work but she looked so bad i thought she might be dead by the time i got home. However she is still here and from what i have heard from my mum she hasnt slept all day very slowly wobbling about the cage shaking and looking disorientated I finally thought we were losing her as she lay in bed shaking but now shes up again wobbling about the cage breathing very quickly!!! she is still eating though very slowly! What can i do to make her feel better if anything? or at least help ease some pain for her? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated! x
