A question of honor?

While attempting to make an ignation with a lady of my acquaintance, I was rudely interrupted by a bumbling lout from Gascony. I challenged him to meet me later this afternoon to obtain satisfaction, but now I find that my two best friends are also planning to duel with him at the same hour! As a man studying for the priesthood, I am somewhat troubled by this coincidence. Should I kill the young Gascon first, or let one of my friends have the honor?
