Evaporation over ice free oceans...?

Typically, evaporation over the ice free Southern Ocean is 0.5mm/day. Sea ice farther south prevents evaporation from the ocean surface. Should the sea ice melt, more evaporation could occur. The resulting water vapor will move southward because of atmospheric motions and converge over Antarctica as precipitation. What would be the increase of the precipitation rate over Antarctica?
